  • All public relations activities are coordinated through the Corporate Communications department.
  • Any and all printed or presentation materials are subject to DAMAC’s branding and identity instructions.

GENERAL COMMUNICATIONS POLICIES

  • DAMAC does not provide revenue or other balance sheet information in numerical form unless in the reported financials.
  • If profit, sales or revenue numbers are discussed, they should be couched in terms of percentages only.
  • DAMAC is apolitical.
  • DAMAC does not comment on government policy, regulatory or legal issues.
  • DAMAC does not comment on internal policies or procedures or other internal issues.
  • DAMAC does not comment on staff movements or other HR issues.
  • DAMAC does not comment on the activities of other companies, industry associations, or other organisations.
  • DAMAC does not comment on market speculation or rumours.
  • DAMAC does not comment on hypothetical situations.
  • DAMAC does not proactively comment on Health & Safety issues. If any issues arise, we may comment on a reactive basis only.

Information provided to external sources must be information that is authorised for release, and has been verified as accurate. GENERAL COMMUNICATIONS POLICIES - MEDIA RELATIONS All media contact is coordinated through Corporate Communications. If you get a call from the media the following ground rules must be observed:

  1. All media interviews or appointments must be arranged through Corporate Communications; please refer any requests to them. Do not arrange or accept any independently arranged media appointments.
  2. Only approved spokespersons are authorised to have contact with journalists and/or media personnel. The list of approved speakers is available from Corporate Communications.
  3. If a non-approved spokesperson from DAMAC receives a media enquiry, they must without comment be referred to Corporate Communications.
  4. All approved speakers when talking to the media, prepare a thorough message. Consider the likely reaction of delivering the message directly to any/all of our key audiences. All media enquiries must be worked upon with DAMAC Corporate Communications on developing your key messages and answers to potentially difficult questions.
